Paper Cutz Challenge #105

Good Afternoon Bloggers! This is a quick post to show you the card I made for Paper cutz Challenge #105.
The challenge was to make a project using things you would find on a farm. You could use any colors and it could be for any occasion. Here's my card:

This card is from Just Because Cards Cricut Cartridge, button #7. I cut it out at 5.75". I used Martha Stewart glitter on the talk. I inked up the little chick with Mustard Seed distressed ink and used my Viva Decor Pearl Pen in Black for the eyes. I outlined the wing and the beak with my Atyou Spica glitter marker for some subtle bling. Super simple.
Thank you for taking a peek at my card. The challenge ends tonight so if you have the time, please join. Have a great night.

Birthday Bash Elephant

Good Afternoon Bloggers! I made a card last night to enter two challenges: Paper Cutz Challenge #104 and Celebrate The Occasion Challenge #26. Paper Cutz asked us to use only the colors: Turquoise, Red, Black and White and Celebrate the Occasion asked for an easel Birthday card. Here is how I married the two:

Recipe:
Turquoise, Black and White CS - Recollections. Red patterned paper is from DCWV Paper Stack 7. Ribbon and Rhinestones are from Michaels. I also used Turquoise Stickles on ear and tail.
I used Elephant from Birthday Bash cut at 3.25 inches. The circle I used my Martha Stewart circle cutter and it is also 3.25 inches and I stamped it with a Tim Holtz stamp to make the background. The red matte I used Elegant Edges Dots Oblong shadow cut at 5.25". The Happy Birthday stamp is from a cling stamp set that I can't remember the name of right now, lol. I also used Viva Decor Black pearl pen to make the eyes pop.

That's my card. I hope you like it. Paper Cutz challenge ends tonight at midnight but CTO doesn't end until Sunday night, so you have time to try your hand at an easel card. Have a great night.

Snow Angel

Good Evening Crafters! I am sorry I haven't posted in awhile. I wanted to, but it just never happened. I am enjoying my summer with my very active two year old though. I made a card a couple of days ago that I wanted to share with you.

I recently bought an Imagine and I bought Snow Angels to play with. I love the images on this card. I cut this image one layer (I am taking baby steps with the printing and cutting as I don't want to make a mistake, lol) at four inches. I also bought Elegant Edges which is what I used to cut the matte at 5.25" using DCWV Christmas Stack paper. The card base is Recollections and it matches the pink/peach of the girl's outfit. I used Viva Decor Pearl pen in Ice White to add the pearls at the bottom of the card. I also used stickles to 3D the pompom on her hat and Enamel Accents to all the white dots in the sleigh for dimension. I outlined the matte with my white gel pen and inked the edges of the matte. I stamped the saying from Paper Trey Ink.

I am entering this card in a couple challenges:
More Than Favors Cricut Cartridge Chaos Challenge #27
The cartridge is Winter Woodlands or a similar cut from another cartridge. The sleigh I used reminded me of the sleigh on Winter Woodlands.
My Pink Stamper's Pinkalicious Blog Hop Friday
Make a card that represents you and your favorite thing.
I love Stickles, Glass Effects, Viva Decor pearl pens and glitter. They are my favorite additions to my projects.

That's it. I hope you like it. It is pretty simple. I find I am making simpler cards in the last few weeks. Time is of the essence :-).  Thank you to all my new followers! I can't believe I am at 50 followers! You all rock! Have a great night!
