Flower card

Hello fellow Crafters! I have been M.I.A. due to being busy at home and at work. I am finally scrapbooking my son's baby pictures. I really want to finish the album before his birthday which is the end of this month. I am also making Mother's Day cards to give to the mothers in my life. Here is a card I made:

This is for challenge #72 over at cricutcardzchallenge.blogspot.com. The challenge asked us to make a card for mother's day using the card feature from a cartridge of your choice and it had to have a flower on it. I bought Life's a Beach a while back but I never used it so I decided to use it for this challenge. This is flower #4 I believe. I used the card feature cut at 5" out of white cardstock. I then cut the flower itself at 4.5" to cover the flower in the card. I used my gypsy to find what size I had to cut the flower to cover the flower in the card base. I used yellow and orange peel stickles to make it pop. The Happy Mother's Day stamp is from Stampin Up and the red bling is from Michaels. I stamped it in SU garden green to bring out the green of the leaves. It is simple but effective, I believe. I hope you like it. Thanks for reading and commenting. I will try to be more consistent but life has a way of interfering with your plans, lol. Take care!
