Sweet Treats and Scrappy Moms Stamps

Hello everyone! Yay, another post in the same week. I am on a roll, lol. I am trying anyway. It is Terrific Tuesday Challenge time over at Scrappy Moms and the cartridge selected this week is Sweet Treats. This has to be one of my most used cartridges and one of my favorites so I had to play along. I tend to make a lot of birthday cards, so this is my go to cart. Here's my card:

The base is Early Espresso from SU cut landscape A2; the patterned paper is from K & Co. Birthday kit. I cut the sundae and all its layers out at 3.75". I used Recollections silver for the bowl and the other papers are Recollections too (except for the brown). I used Yellow and Orange Peel stickles to make the flame. I used Martha Stewart Drippy Goo punch to make it look like the ice cream is melting on the card. I used the sentiment from Scrappy Moms' Sweet Somethings stamp set, stamped in Early Espresso ink.

I love how this card turned out. I didn't do too much but it worked because of the metallic of the bowl and the glitter on the flame. Now it's your turn to try your hand at using this fabulous cartridge to participate in the Terrific Tuesday Challenge. If you don't own Sweet Treats, you can use a similar cut from SVG or another cartridge. The most important part - is to have fun! Happy crafting!

  3. I love the "drippy goo". I never would have thought of that... usually I think of Halloween with that punch. Great idea.
