One of my favorite Christmas cards that I made

Two posts in one day!  Talk about living up to my New Year's resolution, lol.  I was just talking to my best friend and I remembered that I had wanted to share this card with the blogging world just because I liked it so much.  I made it the day I got the Gingerbread cartridge and New York was buried under 30 inches of snow - last week was crazy!  That's another story though.
Here's the card:

I used kraft cardstock from Papertreyink for the base; red cs is from a scrap pack I bought at target and the white was left over scraps from making all my Christmas cards.  The glitter background cardstock is from DCWV Christmas stack (not the one it is resting on, lol).  I punched it with an apron lace border punch and used a this strip of the red cs to separate the punch from the rest of the paper.  I believe I cut the candies at 2" each.  I will update if I am wrong :-).  I tried to stamp the Merry Christmas directly onto the kraft cs but I messed up - boo.  So I stamped it again on the same white cs I used for the candies and cut it with pinking edgers and covered up the booboo.  That is what crafting is about - fixing mistakes in a creative way, haha.

So that is it.  No contest or challenge.  Just a card that I made after Christmas on a snowy day to keep boredom away.  Funny enough, I think it is one of my favorites.  Thanks for reading and leaving comments!  I appreciate the love.
