Good Evening Crafters! I made my first tag a few nights ago but this weekend was so hectic, I am just getting the chance to post it. I plan to enter this into three challenges this week, two of which end soon, LOL. Talk about cutting it close.
I created this tag in my Gypsy using: Tags, Bags, Boxes and More; Create a Critter, Plantin Schoolbook and Accent Essentials. Over at Cricut Chaos Challenge the cartridge chosen for challenge #22 was TBBM so that is why I used that cart. Tags are also the theme for Wacky Wednesday Challenge #42 at More Than Favors, which made me choose a tag to work with. At Celebrate The Occasion, challenge #19 is celebrating summer so the project must have a sun in it, so this gave me the idea for my scene.
I cut the tag out at 5.25" out of turquoise card stock I had in my stash (all papers are scraps except the sun). I cut the clouds from Create a Critter at 0.75 and 1.00 and used Icicle stickles on them. I cut the snail and all its layers from CAC as well at 2"; I used Glam Pink stickles on the snail. I cut the grass from Plantin Schoolbook at 1.12" and cut it down to size. I cut the sun at 2.18" from Cosmo Cricket's DeLovely 6X6 pack. I used Accent Essentials for the image and I inked it with Mustard Seed distressed ink. I also used a little Tumbled Glass around the edges of the tag. I punched out some butterflies using my Martha Stewart triple butterfly punch. I put Milled Lavender distressed stickles on the purple butterflies. So that is my tag!
I hope you like it and I hope you get a chance to play along. There's not much time though, LOL.
Great job! Thanks for playing with CTO!
